The snow stopped coming down on Sunday and boy was there a lot of it! Here is a link to a blog that a friend of mine shared on facebook. The photos are amazing and really capture what it was like here in Amman.

We are doing well, although, I am going a little stir crazy after being cooped up for 5 days straight. We finally ventured out today and it wasn't so bad. The other day, we tried to take a 2 minute drive and it took us 2 hours. We accomplished nothing but frustration. At least I got out of the house for a bit. Driving here is bad at the best of times and with snow higher and deeper than cars, this is not the nest of time to drive, but people do so anyway, get stuck, make silly decisions and cause more mayhem.
School has been cancelled now for the entire week so our winter holiday has started early, which is nice, but these days will need to be made up so we expect our other holidays to be shorter. We will find out soon enough.
